Elizabeth M. King is a recently retired vice president of Human Resources Solutions and Services for Starbucks Corporation. During her tenure, the company grew from 1,100 to over 26,000 coffee shops with locations in four countries to now 75. This significant growth provided exciting challenges and opportunities for Elizabeth during her 19+ years at Starbucks.
Elizabeth grew up in Bellefonte, PA and is a graduate from both the Bellefonte Area School District and The Pennsylvania State University. She is an avid Penn State fan and a former Nittany Lion on the Penn State Softball team. She spends much of her free time working as a mentor to the Penn State Softball student-athletes.
She splits her time between her homes in Bellevue, WA and Boalsburg, PA.
Today she is the managing partner of Elizabeth M. King Consulting, LLC, a niche consulting company that she founded after retiring from Starbucks.
