Title of Talk: “Are you ALWAYS so Positive and Happy? How Your Attitude makes a Difference!”
Description and Take-Aways: Participants will explore happiness and attitude, and how paying attention to what makes you happy and your attitude about ‘things’ can impact your every day life. Additionally, we’ll dive into the idea that the words we use, with ourselves and others, are important and can have a profound impact on our approach to our lives.
Come have some fun, laugh a little bit, smile a lot, and leave with a smorgasbord of food-for-thought about being happy!
Bio: Sharon Salter is the Director of Special Education for the State College Area School District. She’s had extensive teaching and administrative experiences as a special educator, elementary principal, and special education administrator in 4 other states, but has called State College, PA ‘home’ for the last 20 years. Her passions outside of her work as a special educator include her family (2 adult children and SIL, granddaughter, and husband and partner of 34 years), reading, bicycling, waterskiing/swimming, singing, weaving, the Adirondacks, spending time with friends and family, and finding joy in every moment.
